MountainRiver CMS community platforms and membership systems are important for membership organisations and associations. Value can be provided through subscriptions, commerce, paywall and donation services or by developing strong relations with customers and knowledge bases.
Working closely with the Sunshine Coast team and Punk Logic Mountain River publishing finished off the community hub project and then proceeded to implement the council services site, allowing Sunshine Coast rate payers to register their businesses online and get certificatations. Mountain River provided extensive services, customising Drupal to call the web services, deployment management, load testing and supporting agile processes.
The Ecological Society of Australia has been supporting the development of professional ecology and the connections between ecologists by promoting research chapters. These are communities of interest and supported by group capabilities within the content management system.
